I had problems getting an Apple Extreme to work (it seems the IPv6 is a bit broken).

After tearing my hair out, I configured a linux box as a router which worked simply and easily.

I doubt many consumer routers can handle this properly - it will probably end up a crap shoot. Though perhaps DD-WRT could do it? I think Init7 also suggest a couple of routers.
