Lets say a new Born child in Zurich Hospital with Indian parents. Parents are Indian and staying in Zurich, Switzerland on L Permit and plan to make the delivery here. The child will be given a provisional birth certificate during birth. What do the parents need to do for a birth certificate of the baby. Point to mention here the mother and father do not have a Birth certificate back in India because they were born before 1989 and according to the Indian law if a Indian resident is born before 1989 , passport or 10th standard admit card will serve the verification of birth date. Even we do not have a Hospital discharge certificate. What steps shall i follow to obtain a birth certificate for the baby.
