You are both running your own business, doing that here will be different, possibly hugely. Knowing what sectors your businesses are in would be helpful as the potential issues can be expected to vary subject to industry. They'll probably include:
- legalities and regulations differ, possibly big time
- you may need licence(s), possibly both personal and for the business, which may or may not be difficult to obtain
- different brands, product lines, styles, and crazes
- customer expectations and behavior
- your customers may (probably will) expect you speaking the local language on a fluent level

It might be a good idea to become employed, if even temporarily, in order to familiarize yourselves with the differences.
