If you do opt for ceiling lamps - I'd recommend ones where the bulbs are easy to replace (usually the threaded type), as opposed to ones where you have to practically dismantle the whole thing to replace the bulb (halogens).

Less and less halogens now, more LED where the bulbs don't need replacing (so they tell us....)
