Probably not for parts - I'd guess

tyres - 20 CHF each
basket - 30 CHF
brake blocks - 20 CHF for two pairs

(you can check online yourself...)

So unless you happen to be over the border probably not worth the trip, and if your friend is a newbie it's worth buying local as a) practice b) to take stuff back if wrong.

For service - SportXX regularly advertise this for about 60CHF, but I had a "three month" free one done for a new kids bike and they messed up the brakes and set the dynamo at an angle that made a god-awful noise like a banshee, so can't really recommend!
