Things like Cadbury's, some British sweets and other foods can be very expensive and hard to find here. Spices are also a good thing to have as a reminder of home because you can dump them in everything. For British cheeses, Grumpy's (EF user grumpygrapefruit) cheese stand in Zürich is a valuable source.

Depending on how often you return to the UK, you won't have to bring too much - but bringing stuff over after trips probably is more hassle than bringing it over now (since you probably have more space for foods in your moving van/whatever than in your luggage which you carry on a return flight to CH).
forget about fresh meat because the import of fresh meat is prohibited
