Another plus about classes in German would be that, with any luck, the vocabulary you will most hear, will be connected with the subject you need to know about. Any specific field will cause the same 'difficulty'. You don't just need German. You need dog-keeping German. Probably about 70% of non-doggie Swiss wouldn't understand all that is being said in such situations either.
