Since this post is a specific question about this forum, rather than Switzerland I am moving this post to the forum support area.

Ok, now in answer to your question - common sense prevails. If you are providing a link to a commercial organisation is it relevant to a question that the poster asked about? If you aren't associated with this commercial organisation and are genuinely trying to help, then there is no problem to paste the link.

If you are associated with that organisation then you should add a small disclaimer after the link alerting readers that you obviously have some interest in promoting this business. This is the honest way to do it, as some people might choose not to click if they think you have a vested interest and will trust your information more if you don't.

Commercial posts may be posted in the commercial area, subject to the guidelines outlined there.

So the bottom line is that each person knows for themselves if they are spamming or not. Keep it honest, and everybody is happy.
