It's really just a low-security immobilizer. Might be fine for parking outside a shop for a few minutes, but it's really no security if the bike is unattended in public for any length of time.

It maybe the sort of thing that you'd think would be fine for low-crime Switzerland. Trouble is, while Switzerland is a low-crime country, many people here don't consider bike theft to actually be a crime...

You need a sturdy U-lock connecting the frame (not just a wheel) and a fixed object with as little air-gap as possible or a heavy-weight chain for good bike security here.
