Re: German [learning] ... where next?

I've had good experiences with Migros in Geneva, but as others have said it's very much dependent on the teacher. I've been learning German for the past four years: progress is on the slow side with only one lesson per week, but my teacher is first-rate.

I'm now learning Italian as well - am still happy with the teaching although I think my German teacher is stronger (or maybe I'm just more used to her style).

If you have the time and money to go for an intensive course then it must be worth a try
