You guys are hilarious.

One can lose a lot of fat in a short time, indeed. But whether it is healthy is another question. Even a kilo a week is pretty harsh. Listen to your metabolism, study it and speed it up. Find the reason of extra weight, look at your parents and family for genetics and most of all, integrate calorie burning.

People spoil themselves on daily basis, just because. Why? What is it compensating for? Don't self respect and self compassion actually translate to treat one's body to health instead of unintelligent instant gratification, low physical activity and poor quality food. Doesn't everybody want to be healthy and look hot?

But to OP's question, of course you can lose a lot of weight in short time. I know a few people who did.
