Re: Vaccine Question

You asked the wrong question. I would be shocked if you could even find a medically trained doctor who is anti-immunisation, even the ones who are happy to 'prescribe' homeopathic remedies for non-life-threatening illnesses...

Instead, if you don't wish your children to be immunised, then you speak to the Paediatrician and discuss what quarantine requirements and precautions you should take because you will not consent to them being immunised.

I work with many many many families and only one parent I know is on a varied immunisation schedule by choice, and certainly not a 'zero' immunisation.

You can be as sincere as you like, and be sincerely wrong.

I know two families whose children caught vaccine-preventable Meningococcal. The vaccine is quite new and wasn't available when their children got ill. One spent 5 months in hospital and was not expected to live, and wrote off his chances of completing university (his brain was never the same again)...he had just started first year university. The other child died within 3 days of showing symptoms, she was 12 years old.
