Maybe, the gender has a role into all the favors you were getting (along with possibly luck, attitude and other non gender related factors).
It's surely hard or impossible to evaluate accurately, but surely it's not that common to have so many gestures for you.

It's like here, in Lausanne, all my female colleagues have been offered a flat within 3 applications. And other variables (pay, nationality, etc...) have all been neutralized since identical in some cases. Their male counterparts had easily over 40-80 applications.
