I passed through Moscow back in 1977 when on my way to conferences at Dubna (JINR) and in Erevan. Greatly enjoyed a performance by the Bolschoi Ballet in the huge Kremlin Theatre, as well as visiting the Tretyakov Gallery. But wow, was it cold in winter!
