When my daughter was in Kindergarten we were shown her report in a meeting like this. It was explained to us and then we signed it. Actually, mostly it was only me as my husband was usually working. It wasn't until she started first class that reports were sent home or us to sign.

But, as Olygirl says, it won't have marks (notes as they're called in German) but rather descriptions of how your son has worked towards stated goals.

It will be placed in a folder, which will then be used for all his primary school results, but, for me, looking back now as the mother of a fifth class child, the comments from Kindergarten seem very long ago and of not much relevance.
