"walk away from negotiations" Looking at the recent Swiss/EU situation I doubt the EU will negotiate; they will simply make an offer.

I believe any EU trade offer would include some element of free movement of people otherwise it will just encourage other "exits"; anyway I doubt that offer would appear this year.
