Using Indoor Furniture Outdoors

Hi all,

I have a nice looking (white/creme leather, ooh err), but very uncomfortable sofa in my living room. It was quite pricey, so I don't want to bin it or give it away, or destroy it inadvertantly.

I have a large covered (i.e. a roof/floor above me) terrace which I would like to put it out on. It wouldn't therefore be exposed to any rain, but would be to sun/heat/cold/wind/atmospheric stuff.

My question is, how will it hold up? Should I expect to see it mould up and decay within weeks/months? Is there something I can treat it with to minimise this issue?

I understand that it might discolour a bit in the sun, but it's white anyway, so that's not too much of an issue.
