Today I took 1m off the top of our laurel - now down to a more manageable height!!

8 large bags + 1 green bin + a few loose branches for recycling!!
On Sunday? Did you use a power tool? Or just hand saw?

We had a beautiful laurel on our property when we bought this house. The tree was at least 30 years old and truly magnificent. In my first conversation with the neighbour she informed me that the tree was too close to the property line, which it was, and they want it removed. We had no choice but to comply.

Of course now the neighbours have no shade on their wintergarden and are roasting in this heat. I am sure they regret the tree was cut down.
