Didnt expect this to get re-pushed but to let everyone know we ended up with the ComfortAir system from MCZ. this is a pellet stove but with piping around the house, in our case heating to large rooms and two hallways. so far happy with it though as its summer its just done a few test runs. winter will come up with the real costing though pellets are very cheap - 5 CHF for a 15KG bag.

I'll update in a few months when we've worked out how much its munching.
