You can deduct the costs you've paid yourself for medical treatments, in other words whatever you've been left to pay after the insurance has paid its part. Not insurance premiums, which are partially deductible elsewhere.
Do note that for the cantonal (and communal taxes) the medical costs are only deductible if they exceed 5% of the taxable income, whilst the totality of the costs are deductible for federal income tax (IFD). It's therefore worth the hassle of filling in all your excess medical costs, even if you get nothing from the canton, you will on the federal tax.
