Is the burqa in the workplace really a pressing issue? The hijab is one thing (and I think should be allowed, FWIW), but I have hard time imagining a situation where a burqa or niqab-wearing mother drops off her kids at crèche as she heads off alone to her 9-to-5 job that her husband is perfectly fine with her having. That's if she can get one. Try getting a non-alternative job with your face tatted up to the gills or wearing a ski mask or bee-keeper suit and see how far that gets you.
