Does anybody have a link of official info about the 19% VAT we can claim back when exporting a car from Germany?


I dont know how it works in situation, i gonna move from Germany to Switzerland and want to buy my company car to bring with me. Sixt is company which manages my car tells me "nobody will reimburse the VAT to you" and "the car can be sold to you, to a german address".


Is it the case that only if I are buying from the a Swiss address then I can claim back the VAT?
