But the only guarantee that your permit may not be revoked is to get citizenship. See the link I provided regarding possible changes to obtaining permits in the future. Nothing, I repeat nothing, guarantees you can live and work here without restriction except Swiss citizenship. Everything else is down to how the Swiss decide they want their laws on permits to be. And it looks like those rules are going to get tougher.
