There are no parental controls in the Connect Box.

You can create rules based on IP addresses (such as stop IP address x.x.x.x from accessing the internet between <start-time> and <end-time>) but nothing easier than that. I assume a simple change to the device's IP address would quickly bypass that.

Best would be to connect another router to it, give that router's wifi password to your children, and simply turn it off when you don't want them to have internet access. Of course, any mobile will simply revert to 3/4G at that point.

The comment above (the abrupt "simple as" one) regarding simply watching what they surf takes no account of the types of devices one uses now which have web browser functionality, or exactly how close one wants to hover around their children at all times.

There is no easy answer.
