Re: All about the alt-right (in the wake of anti-Muslim shooting)

Steve Bannon seems to be popping up a lot in photos/footage of Trump recently, such as in a photo accompanying a BBC article the other day on the Supreme Court nomination, showing Trump on the phone in the Oval Office and Bannon lounging in a chair in front of the desk.

His Breitbart news site seems to be expanding into France and Germany. It's disturbing that someone with views like these should be so close to the US president. I think the Muslim ban has more to do with saying "we hear you" to racists than it has to do with protecting the country.

Steve Bannon Suggests There Are Too Many Asian CEOs In Silicon Valley
“When two-thirds or three-quarters of the CEOs in Silicon Valley are from South Asia or from Asia, I think...” Bannon said. “A country is more than an economy. We’re a civic society.” Bannon’s “facts” were, in fact, well off. A May 2015 study found that 27 percent of professionals working in Silicon Valley companies were Asian or Asian-American. They represented less than 19 percent of managers and under 14 percent of executives, according to the report.
