Sad news that Joost van der Westhuizen, former Springbok captain and RWC winner passed away earlier today. A great player in his time and probably the first of the "new breed" of #9. MND is an appalling disease and this is close to home for us; it claimed a dear friend of ours a few years ago, he was in his mid-40s too.
