Trump knows he's a dick and he couldn't care less. That's part of the appeal - he simply does not care who he offends, he cares about getting the job done.
There's a school of thought that he's ploughing through his election promises regardless of any opposition, then there's another that highlight what's actually happening in the states that supported him, such as this...

Well that's subjective...

...On the other hand patriotic folks who want to put their country and people first and foremost might think he's doing a good job.
PBS - funding cut completely.

In fact, why not make yourself familiar with the proposed budget spending changes then you can come back with solid reasons why PBS doesn't matter to pre-school children, why nutritional subsidies and after school plans don't matter to kids from low income families or low paid working parents, why meals on wheels doesn't matter to the elderly who often thrive on the social contact it provides as well as the proper meal it provides. Then you can explain to us all how eliminating Economic Development Administration will benefit struggling communities, or how teacher training grants being cut will benefit kid's education. Perhaps you'd also like to explain how American's will benefit from all the cuts in science fields, training of health care professionals, or would you prefer to explain how this little gem will be beneficial?

Cuts $667 million from grant programs to state and local agencies, including pre-disaster mitigation grants and counterterrorism funding
The list is endless and makes dire reading, but I do sincerely hope you read it and think how you and your family would be affected if you lived in America.
