That's puzzling to me. I would think that those with lower deductibles would use healthcare services more, and thus cost more...and thus be subjected to bigger increases.
Seems to show higher premiums with lower deductibles are more profitable for insurance companies. Which could mean higher deductibles and lower premiums are actually more cost effective for some. (We pay for the peace of mind that we are covered) Of course, this is a gamble that we won't pay out of pocket as much as we pay per month in premiums...
