hahaha! who ever says the CH- collecting paper system is better is nuts, especially when she/he never has lived in germany and was used to this more convenient thing of collecting paper n cardboard. dunno about recycling, effectivity compared to germany...
The german system maybe convenient but it is highly inefficient. You have a have a bin for normal garbage and a bin for everything with these green arrows on it. If you think these green arrows are all about recycling you're wrong. It only means waste disposal is paid for and is organized by a private company. The idea was to reduce garbage through financial incentives. Unfortunately it didn't work. The only result was they collect the same garbage twice as the contents of the normal bin and the green point bin are basically the same. This system wastes billions of Euros and lets consumers falsely believe they're doing any favours to the environment.
