Welcome to the forum, but sorry it's unlikely that you'll make it here. As a non-EU national you need to be employed by a Swiss employer who has to prove they can't find a Swiss/EU national who could do the job. Only other way to get a permit to live/work here is to marry a Swiss/EU national.

Also as an American you need to be aware that you'll have continuing US tax filing obligations abroad and could end up owing the US tax on top of local ones.

Getting a business account is extemely difficult due to the US's FATCA law which requires foreign banks to have American clients sign W-9 forms to allow the bank to send the account details on to the IRS. So a basic checking account is all you'll get. Plus any foreign account that comes to an agrregate figure of more than $10,000 at any time of the year also has to be reported on an FBAR form.
