You can limit your torrent software to how much it uploads and set it to 1Kb/s and always manually stop seeding after your download is complete. That way you will tremendously limit the amount of data you upload.


Also, I've read somewhere that ETH have developed torrent software, which does not upload at all. I am not sure how this is possible, but it seems to be true, as several people told me about that.


Quite frankly I am happy with Netflix and rarely download anything. When I want to watch something not on Netflix (mostly Game of Thrones) I use this website SolarMovie, which is pretty cool and has huge library - it is only streaming.
