Re: Star Wars movie for 8 y.o?

Hi all
Tried to search the forum, but did not find a definite answer.
Id like to take my 8 y.o. to the new Star Wars movie. The age rating for the film is 14/12, meaning kids as of 12 y.o. are allowed in if accompanied by an adult. At the same time, I believe that SW is fine for the age of 8.
Would cinema personnel refuse entry in this case? Did anyone have an experience bringing kids to the movies that had higher age rating in ZH cinemas?
Age ratings are a cantonal thing. For example in ZG it is 9 and SG 12/10.
The cinema personal may prevent entry in case the age gap is to obvious.
In the worst case the police makes checks at the entrance Seen this only once when my dad brought my sister and me in a 16 movie. They asked how old we were and he said the right age and we just agreed
