Notice the drain pipes from the 2 maschines are fixed high above the "swan neck", at least 30cm if posible. The flex drain pipes should be fixed ( like photo, black wire) because the pipe will move, when the maschine is pumping. You have a black rubber tube which is between the flex-pipe and the drain. This must not be allowed to bend down. It could be that your flex pipe in not fixed and it is now hanging down lower than the outlet and water from the basin, runs into your dishwasher drain pipe . I hope you understand this!


This is super clear, thank you. As I said, hopefully the plumber mended it, but I'll keep an eye on it, as the flex drain pipe is not fixed with wire or anything, although it seemed high enough to me. Thanks for all the useful tips.
