If you want to bring your stuff, and it isn't induction, then you'll have to either make sure that the place you rent doesn't have an induction stove, or possibly buy a gas grill with a cooking ring, or a table top single (or double) burner electric. (That's how I do cheese fondue, as my stove is induction).
Or get a diffuser plate/converter disc: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb...converter+disc and even a classic Caquelon can be used on an induction hob.
