UPC Cablecom "Happy Home" plans and price increase

https://www.moneyland.ch/de/upc-happ...s-im-vergleich

The "Connect and Play" plans are replaced with "Happy Home" plans.

For example, the highest-performing plan is now called "Happy Home 500" (with 500 Mbps download speed and 50 upload) and costs CHF 139/month.

From the article linked above:

Quote:
A comparison with the combi subscriptions from market leader Swisscom and competitor Sunrise shows that the new UPC subscriptions are practically as expensive as comparable Swisscom subscriptions. The UPC subscriptions are only one franc cheaper than corresponding Swisscom products. The UPC subscriptions "Happy Home 50" and "Happy Home 200" each cost around CHF 4 more than comparable Sunrise products. However, there may be differences in Internet speed or TV offerings.
So congratulations, UPC! You're now just as expensive as Swisscom!

The upside is that Powerline adaptors are included in some plans, and that existing subscribers will get double the current speed with no price increase. There's also a "try 30 days for free" offer.
