Re: Brexit (and other UK stuff) information roadshow in Swizterland | Quote: | | | | | I did hear one guy ask for 2 glasses of red wine before going into the room, one for him and one for his wife. The waitress gave him the wine and asked "Where is your wife?" and he said "Dunno. Haven't see her for several years"
There was a guy sitting in front of me writing everything that was said in shorthand, so I expect a breakdown of the meeting to appear online soon.
Tobias M may correct me on this, but the one question that nobody seemed to have an answer for came from a cabin crew member asking if she would need 27 visas to do her job.
My highlight was the very last question. A guy asked the Ambassador what her regrets were about Brexit. Even though she toed the 'stay positive' line in most of her response, she did dip her toe over the line a little. | | | | | On short haul flights, cabin crew never officially enter the country as they don't go through passport control & fly back on the same plane 30-40 minutes later. So zero visas will be required. On long-haul nothing will change as it's all non EU flights.
