How much is your transceiver temperature? How much is your room temperature? what is connected
In which orientation did you install the router? flat on desk or on edge and which edge down?

regarding the previous question:
mine is about 62 C (fiber and lan connected, no IP, no internet access, room temperature is 25 C)
usually commercial grade components max. operating temperature is 70C, I did not open it to verify, just some educated guess that these kind of products do not have industrial grade parts.

the power consumption measured with both WLAN disabled, LANs disconnected, fiber connected, no IP (third led off, first two on and green)
