I'd like to share my experience so far:
Found the deal last Sunday (17.06) and bought it the same day.
Order accepted on Monday (18.06).
Router sent on Monday and arrived on Tuesday (19.06).
Activation confirmation arrived today (22.06).

I live in a recently constructed building in Fribourg with a fiber plug in the apartment (which had never been used before).
Unfortunately, even though the router gets assigned a public address and all the lights on it are green (on the web interface everything looks good, too), I can't access the internet.

I contacted Salt once at noon, they said to try again at 17:00. Called again when nothing worked and they opened a ticket with their technical department.

Hopefully they can resolve the problem in a timely manner, although I have seen another person in this thread with exactly the same problem and Salt took two weeks to work it out... Fingers crossed


One thing I have to say, is that even though I had to wait a bit on the phone, the lady was very nice and didn't sound stressed at all (my experience with other ISPs). Unfortunately, it looks like they can't directly do anything but rather have to open a ticket on the technical side.
