What is a sport?

Any activity which has an administrative organisation with the will and means to convince, schmooze and bribe Olympic delegates into including it as a sport
indeed. consider squash.

"principal limitation has always been the difficulty in observing the sport as a spectator, either in person or on television"

in short, less revenue from fewer spectator count. i can understand that it can be difficult to observe, but surely that can be overcome with some cleverly placed cameras.
