Actually it's called "the EU politicians are doing their job", they're getting at least a good deal for their constituency. Whether the UK likes the offer should no longer be any of their concern.

You are even advocating for the UK to cut their nose to spite the EU yet you complain about others protecting their interests. Go figure.
