Is it cultural? I can understand someone being swayed because they've spent too long on the internet reading articles by quacks but just to not do it because it's 'your choice'.

Is that why Switzerland needs a "Good samaritan" law to force people to to a fellow human being when in need?

I'm not having a go but I don't quite get the mindset here.
