'Subject to taxation in the UK' badly translated or misunderstood as tax needs to be paid in the U.K. Easily done by somebody who works in a country where tax allowances as such do not exist.
We did appeal and we have a very good tax accountant here, it made no difference. To be honest the amount is so small it’s hardly worth bothering about.
