Haven't you heard BREXIT has been postponed indefinitely? Meanwhile trade talks between the US, Japan and the EU are on going...
According published draft agreement and as well if no agreement is made, march next year the UK will no longer be a member and will have no say in EU politics. No representation in the European Parliament and the Council, no participation in the decision making and committees. And as we know the committees is the real deal of the EU. For the proposed transition period, there are already rumors that it should be extended, where further talks for a permanent solution will be held it will have a status similar as Switzerland has now. In some way better in someway worse, as the UK can perform trade talks with other countries but not enact on them.
