I also drived every day and for me it was a pleasure. And now with a kid it's a perfect place to live! Food shops open until 21.00 in Seedam, summer time our Badi is one of the best on the Zurich lake and it's for free, we have all type of schools here so you can start and finish your education not even leave the town. There are a huge expat community here. So your kid and your wife would not feel lonely. And as a previous people told you to go for a coffee to Lachen or Sunday brunch in Wadenswill it's super easy
