Exactly that's the beauty of EU. A "nobody" from Luxembourg or from Latvia can become the president. The outrage!

That doesn't stand well with some people's ideas, I know...
It would be the beauty of the EU if someone from Latvia or Luxembourg (or any small country) would become president because of their merits or popularity. The fact is that nobody wants this guy. It's just the result of a compromise.

Or do you think: I am a EU citizen and Juncker is my president?
