Yeah, the local government should take an action urgently! I am worrying about being a homeless while having a decent job...
There is always France - something like 100,000 people live in France and work in Geneva, myself included. Obviously there are trade-offs - too numerous to list here - and it won't be an option for if your employment is with the majority of banks. As an EU citizen you can get a Permis G (frontalier/Grenzgänger) work permit as a formality. YMMV after Brexit...
