Two EU countries?

This doesn't even make sense?! What exactly are they worried about? The EU no longer delivering? If so - what do they need more ferry crossings for?!

Well, the refugees hanging out in France will be pleased.
They are worried about Customs delays in Calais and Dover so the number of trucks passing through per day will be reduced.
They open up alternative parallel routes to increase the number of trucks passing through per day.
