There was actually a time that "radio" programmes were transmitted through the phone wires. The quaint old radios with phone connectors still appear in brockis here and there. And PTT would try to upsell their phone ciustomers into also getting a radio subscription.

And nowadays both landline phones and radio/TV use broadband cables, so you could say the wheel of history has come full circle, while PTT/Swisscom has taken the shortcut by staying put and waiting for the wheel to come round..
