Early diagnosed Prostate cancer UK patients live longer

Encouraging but hard to believe ain't it?

According to the report when prostate cancer was spotted early - at stage one - men had five-year survival rates 0.5 per cent higher than men of the same age in the general population.

Nobody seems to know why, just speculation that the shock of the diagnosis causes men to adopt healthier life styles.

The figures are from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), I wanted to read the original report but could not find it!
