If that doesn't work, she could also threaten to hold another referendum, which risks yielding an even more divisive outcome than the previous one, followed by a general election risking a result even less conclusive than the last, which could force whatever Government (if one could even be formed) to enter into all sorts of highly volatile coalitions to cling to power and that without any pretense of a coherent position regarding Europe.
